His knowledge in risk management will influence international reinsurance plans.
Brian W. Nocco has joined the board of directors of Oceanview Secure Reinsurance Ltd, a division of Oceanview Holdings Ltd. On October 29, the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority approved the nomination.
Nocco has held important positions in significant financial and insurance companies, giving him a wealth of knowledge in corporate finance and risk management. He was a partner at McKinsey & Company from 2010 until 2019, where he was in charge of global finance operations.
He oversaw global operations and financial strategy as chief financial officer at XL Capital Ltd. before to joining McKinsey. Nocco also held executive positions at Imperial Bank, The Chubb Corporation, and Continental Bank Corporation, as well as chief risk officer at Nationwide Insurance Group.
Oceanview Holdings’ CEO and chairman, William Egan, emphasised Nocco’s experience in risk management and financial management, calling it a vital component of the business’s overall strategy.
“Brian’s extensive background and proven leadership in financial management and risk oversight make him an invaluable addition to our board,” said Egan. “His deep understanding of global finance operations and strategic risk management will be instrumental as we accelerate our growth in reinsurance and deliver innovative solutions to our global clients.”
According to the company, Oceanview Secure Reinsurance’s continued emphasis on broadening its worldwide reach and improving operational techniques to support its growth in the reinsurance market is reflected in the appointment of Nocco to the board.
Additionally, the business stated last month that Stelian Dragan had been promoted to the role of president and chief executive officer of its operations in Bermuda.
In his new position, Dragan will be in charge of Oceanview Re’s operations, with an emphasis on growing the company’s reinsurance offerings and improving its standing in the market. In April 2022, Dragan became president and chief business development officer of the corporation.
